It was our first Sunday worship service at Goshen Home & Orphanage since its inception last year March. But it was a very rich and graceful service as amiable Pastor Fola Fadeyi led the team of affable women and children of Divine Glory Christian Church, Opebi, Lagos on Sunday 11th February to the home. Speaking on the subject of Gratitude, Pastor Fadeyi endeared herself to all with cupious illustrationsand practical teaching which was very interactive and impactful. The team also came with bountiful gifts for the children.
Expressing great delight at the administrative prowess and love seen at the orphanage, one of the team members confessed that they had actuatlly prepared their minds to cry when they reached the home because from past expereince, children in orphanages are usually unkempt, dejected and in very deplorable state but they were pleasantly surprised that the children at Goshen are so beautiful, happy and contented; a sure indication that the management of the home is doing so well and should be commended.
They prayed for God’s increased provision to continue to nurture the children and prepare them for a glorious future.
