Colourful Christmas Celebration @ Goshen

Posted on

Since inception, it has always been our tradition to celebrate Christmas with Goshen children and their friends in the neigbourhood. But the 2019 edition was particularly colourful and special.

As at November we didn’t know how it would happen because we were low in cash. But the miracle of divine provision came in torrents towards the end of November. We sent out a few request notes and in response, one of our daddies in United Kingdom said he wanted to buy Ankara fabric for all the children and staff. He sent money for the clothes and other things needed. Thereafter, friends and family began to send their financial and material support. They sent foodstuff, snacks, candies, clothes and variety of gifts.

And so December 25th started on a very high pitch. Goshen children were super excited to welcome their school friends and invited guest from the estate. Some parents from the neighbourhood also accompanied their children to the party.

We had two special Christmas cakes; one from the Benevolence team of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (Faith City Parish), Ojodu- Berger and the other from our friend- Pastor Jumoke Omojuwa, CEO, Spices Confectioneries.

The event was flavored with Bible quiz competitions, choreography, singing and other games, anchored by Uncle Sammy. There was also surplus food and drinks for the children and everyone that came. Of course, each child went home with a gift pack in the spirit of Christmas.

To all our mummies, daddies, aunties, uncles, pastors, friends and family that blessed us with gifts in cash and kind to make the party memorable, we say a very big “THANK YOU”.  You are destiny helpers. You made our Christmas very colourful and beautiful. May the Lord beautify your lives and families with every good gifts.

WE ARE GRATEFUL!
