Our daddy and mummy at True Light Christian Centre sent a surprise text message to me early in the year! And what was the message? “Our Church has a donation for your orphanage. The presentation will be done during the church service tomorrow. Please send someone to pick it.” The first time they heard about the orphanage was in December 2018 when we needed a bus to convey our children to Lekki for a Christmas party. Mummy volunteered to pay for the bus we hired and took the burden off me. And her encouraging words also strengthened my heart.
So, when she sent again that they had gifts for us, I knew I had to be there personally to receive it. I must honour this couple that has been so gracious and kind to us. Both of them have been shining example in the neighbourhood since I knew them- humble, passionate, caring and totally committed to Christ and His course.
The gift was surplus; assorted foodstuff and even cash. The entire church(men, women, youths, children) made the presentation and also prayed for the orphanage. I must say that it was a very refreshing experience.
What more can we say than to thank you Sir/Ma? We appreciate you. We pray the Lord to bless you more abundantly and keep you. May His true light continue to shine upon you! And may the glory of the latter phase of your life and ministry be greater than the former in Jesus Name.
